Why do parents choose merinowool booties for their toddler?
As a neonatal nurse, I know how important temperature regulation is — even after the baby stage. Toddlers still regulate their temperature less well than adults.
Merinowool helps with that:
-
Thermoregulating – keeps feet warm in winter and comfortable in spring
-
Breathable – prevents clammy feet
-
Soft on the skin – no itchy wool
-
Stays in place well – thanks to the knitted cuff and drawstring closure
-
Natural material – without synthetic fibers
Specially designed for 12–24 months
The toddler version has:
-
A longer sole
-
More space at the instep
-
Extra freedom of movement
-
A higher cuff so they don’t slip down
Perfect for indoors, in the stroller, or on the go.
About pilling (fuzz)
Because merinowool is a natural product, slight pilling can occur in areas of friction. This is normal and does not reflect on the quality.
With our wool comb you can easily remove fuzz and keep the booties looking nice.

Frequently asked questions
Are these suitable for walking toddlers?
Yes, they are ideal for indoors or in the stroller. For outdoors, we recommend a shoe with a sturdy sole.
Does merinowool not itch?
No. The fiber is fine and soft and suitable for sensitive skin.
Our pure merino wool and cashmere are so pure that they don't need to be washed before first use. The natural lanolin provides self-cleaning properties; often, a quick airing outside in the crisp morning air is enough to refresh the fibers.

Founder Note
"I don't believe in fleeting trends or the abundance of plastic in the nursery. Our collection was born from a practical need: items that do what they're supposed to do, without compromising your child's health.
Natural fibers are key here. Synthetic materials often seal against the skin, while merino wool and cashmere breathe and regulate temperature. This prevents overheating and irritation, which is essential for healthy sleep.
No harmful chemicals, no unnecessary details, and no flashy colors. Only the finest materials that last for years and retain their value. Honest textiles that contribute to a healthy start, without any fuss.
