Does merino wool itch on baby skin?
No. Merino fibres are finer than 20 microns and bend with the skin instead of pressing into it. The cashmere makes the fabric softer still. Even sensitive or eczema-prone skin usually tolerates this blend well.
Is wool not too warm for summer?
Merino regulates in both directions. In the heat the fibre carries moisture away, so your baby stays cooler than in synthetics. On cooler summer days these work well on their own.
Which size should I choose?
The fit is true to size. If you are between two sizes, take the larger one — the cuffs fold back easily and the knit gives.
How do I wash them?
Airing is usually enough; wool is naturally self-cleaning. When a wash is needed, hand wash or use a wool cycle at 30 °C with a mild wool detergent. Do not wring, dry flat.
Are these suitable for a newborn?
Yes. Size 50/56 fits from the very first days.
