For a baby weighing approximately 3 to 3.5 kilos, size 56 will fit during the first weeks. If your baby is growing quickly, the due date has already passed or you are buying it as a baby gift, choose size 62. A sleepsuit can be slightly roomy, as long as the feet are not tight.

Is this sleepsuit for daytime or nighttime?
This is a daytime sleepsuit: from morning until the evening routine, at home and on the go. For nighttime, choose sleepwear with a sleeping bag suited to the room temperature.

Does my baby need anything underneath?
At a normal room temperature, a bodysuit underneath is enough. If it is colder, a merino wool layer underneath provides extra warmth without overheating your baby.

Can it be worn with the umbilical stump still attached?
Yes. The zip runs along the side and is concealed in the seam, so there is nothing hard or tight against the tummy.

Which Seatpad do I need?

There are two versions of the wool Seatpad:

• Seatpad with strap openings — for strollers and car seats where the harness straps can be detached and threaded through the openings in the pad. View the Seatpad with strap openings here.
• Seatpad Universal — this version fits almost any harness system, including fixed 5-point harnesses. Thanks to the Velcro closure, it is also the quickest to place and move.

Babies cannot yet regulate their own body temperature. In a stroller or car seat with synthetic upholstery, they build up heat — they become clammy, start sweating, and get restless. Wool works differently.
