For a baby weighing around 3 to 3.5 kilos, size 56 will fit during the first few weeks. If your baby is growing quickly, the due date has already passed or you are buying it as a new-baby gift, choose size 62. A footed romper can fit slightly loosely, as long as the feet are not restricted.

Does my baby need anything underneath?
At a normal room temperature, a bodysuit underneath is enough. If it is colder, a merino wool layer underneath provides extra warmth without overheating your baby.
