Why merinowool is ideal for babies
Natural temperature regulation
Merinowool is thermoregulating: it keeps your baby warm in winter and cool in summer. This is essential for newborns who cannot yet regulate their own temperature well.
Gentle on sensitive skin
Thanks to the extra fine fibers, our wool does not itch. It is extremely soft and therefore very suitable for babies with sensitive skin or eczema.
Self-cleaning and low maintenance
Wool is naturally antibacterial and odor-resistant. You need to wash merinowool clothing less often; airing out in fresh air is usually sufficient.

Washing instructions for wool
Use a wool detergent and choose hand wash or a cold wool cycle. Always lay items flat to dry to maintain shape.
Frequently asked questions
Is merino too warm in summer?
No. Merinowool breathes and wicks moisture away. With a single thin layer, your child stays comfortable; in winter simply add a layer.
Does wool itch?
Merino has extra fine fibers and therefore feels soft. Our yarns are selected for skin-friendliness and independently tested.
Do fuzz balls (pilling) appear?
A little pilling is normal with natural yarns. Remove fuzz gently with a wool comb or pill shaver on a low setting; after a few washes this stabilizes.
