Is merinowool suitable for newborn babies?
Yes. Superfine merinowool is naturally hypoallergenic and extremely soft — finer than regular wool and therefore non-irritating. It is one of the few materials that is safe and pleasant for a newborn’s skin.
Does the headband really fit up to 3 years?
Certainly. Because the headband consists of one long piece that you tie yourself, you can easily adjust the size to the growing head. No new size needed — it simply grows with them.
Can I also use the headband in summer?
Yes. Merinowool is naturally highly breathable and temperature regulating. It wicks away excess heat and keeps the head comfortable, even in warmer months.
How do I best wash the headband?
Wash by hand or on a wool cycle at a maximum of 30°C, using a wool detergent. Then lay the headband flat to dry — do not hang, so it retains its shape.

Merino wool is self-cleaning and doesn't need frequent washing. If it is necessary, hand wash it and let it dry flat. (Read our blog post about washing wool here .)
