Wol hoeft veel minder vaak gewassen te worden dan katoen. Even luchten is meestal voldoende. Is wassen toch nodig? Was de deken met de hand op maximaal 30 °C en gebruik een mild wolwasmiddel. Niet wringen en altijd liggend laten drogen.
