Prematuur of dysmatuur geboren kindjes verliezen snel warmte en hebben vaak moeite om sokjes aan te houden: ze zijn te groot en glijden uit. Vanuit onze ervaring in de neonatologie hebben wij deze Preemie slofjes van merinowol laten maken. Ze zijn geschikt voor maat 40 t/m 56 en sluiten perfect aan om de kleine voetjes.

Het strikkoordje zorgt ervoor dat de slofjes niet uitgaan, zodat de voetjes altijd beschermd en warm blijven. Merinowol is bovendien ademend en temperatuurregulerend: het helpt kwetsbare baby’s hun lichaamstemperatuur beter op peil te houden, zonder dat ze gaan zweten.

Wat is het verschil tussen prematuur en dysmatuur?
Een prematuur kindje wordt te vroeg geboren, vóór 37 weken zwangerschap. Een dysmatuur kindje is kleiner of lichter dan verwacht voor de zwangerschapsduur. Beide groepen kindjes hebben vaak moeite om hun lichaamstemperatuur goed vast te houden. Daarom zijn goed aansluitende slofjes en natuurlijke materialen zoals merinowol extra belangrijk: ze helpen om warmte vast te houden zonder dat het te warm wordt.
