Wash at 30°C with a mild detergent. Do not tumble dry. Lay flat to dry to maintain shape and softness. With proper care, this baby blanket will last for years — and will still be beautiful enough to pass on afterwards.

What is the difference between a cotton baby blanket and one made of merino wool?

A wool blanket doesn’t need to be thick to feel cosy. Fine merino fibres trap air and help maintain a balanced temperature. Check your baby’s neck regularly and adjust clothing and layers to the room temperature.
Merinowool is breathable and helps keep warmth and moisture in balance. Dress your baby in lighter layers on warmer days and check the neck regularly: warm and dry is good; clammy or sweaty means one fewer layer.
Merinowool has much finer fibers than regular wool. The addition of cashmere makes the knit extra supple and soft.
Always place your baby on their back, keep their face clear, and allow sufficient room for movement around the hips and legs. Do not wrap too tightly around the chest, and take the room temperature into account. Stop swaddling as soon as your baby tries to roll over. Unsure? Consult your midwife or child health clinic.

You can return a non-personalised blanket within 14 days, provided it is unworn and unwashed. A blanket with a name or initials is made especially for you and therefore cannot be returned. Has something been delivered incorrectly or is there a defect? We will of course resolve it.
